The concept of hospice can create anxiety especially when the specifics of its purpose and protocols are not well understood. This panel discussion, with representatives from several hospice organizations, will give an in-depth explanation of what hospice is, how it works, how to access it, how insurance may be involved, and why there are so many different agencies to choose from. This session is not meant to endorse any specific agency or course of action, nor is it a comprehensive display of the multitude of options. It is informational only to help people understand the many aspects of hospice care in order to be more informed consumers. We anticipate the panel will be able to answer many of your questions.
